The 2023 Federal Poverty Level (FPL) Guidelines determine the income level requirements for people applying for the

Medicare Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS) program, also known as the “Extra Help” program.

If your income is below 135% of the FPL ($18,735  if you are single or $25,365  for married couples living together),

Resource limits also apply:  if single $9,090 and for couples $13,630 for full LIS and $15,160 single and $30,240 for couples for partial LIS .

Remember, the LIS subsidy can help to pay both your monthly plan premiums and drug costs.
